Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026.
Farside Research LLC operates Farside Research. We do not train models on customer research. Your questions, uploaded files, sources and results are scoped to your organization and are not used to train our models or a provider model.
What we process
We process account details, billing identifiers, API usage, research inputs, fetched public sources and generated artifacts to operate the service.
We retain security and audit events needed to protect accounts and investigate abuse.
If you write to us through the contact form, we process the name, email address, company and message you send. If you buy or manage a commercial license, we process the license holder, billing contact and billing address details needed to issue the license, invoice it and run the license portal.
How data moves
A limited set of subprocessors handles model inference, public web search, storage, email and payments. Each receives only the data needed for its job. The current list is on the Subprocessors page. We do not sell personal information.
Our public website uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, only if you accept optional measurement. Before you accept, it does not load and nothing is sent to Google. Once you accept, Google receives the pages you view, the page address and referring page, browser and device details, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie. We do not send it form contents, account details or research, we turn off its advertising features, and it is not used in the signed-in research application. You can withdraw consent at any time from Privacy preferences in the site footer, which stops it and removes its cookies.
Your choices
You can export your organization data, revoke keys and shares, and schedule account or organization deletion from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information. To use them, email support@farsideresearch.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
Farside Research is for adults using it for professional research. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Who is responsible
Farside Research LLC is responsible for account, billing and website data. For research content that an organization submits, we process personal data on that organization's behalf under the Data Processing Addendum.
To contact us about privacy, email support@farsideresearch.com or write to Farside Research LLC, PO Box 83, Inwood, WV 25428.
